The tenth recipe in the series is Sabor Nordestino, a beef jerky with cassava and plantain presented by participant Márcia Fernandes. The dish is an option for June festivities.

Ingredients
600 g of cooked and shredded beef jerky
5 plantains fried in olive oil
4 spoons of wheat flour
400 ml of milk
1 kg of cooked cassava
600 g of grated mozzarella
Paprika to taste
200 g of cream cheese
1 box of cream
Onion, garlic and green chillies to taste
Olive oil to taste
Preparation method
Escondidinho de charque with cassava and plantain

The preparation starts with the meat. In a pan, add the olive oil and paprika, and sauté the onion and garlic, add the beef jerky and green chilli, let the meat incorporate all the seasonings, then set aside.
In another pan, we will make the white sauce. Add the milk, wheat flour and part of the cheese and stir until it thickens. Add the cream and cream cheese, always stirring, so that the cream has the perfect texture.
Then proceed to assembling the dish. Grease a baking tray with olive oil, place the cassava as a base, then the cheese left over from the sauce. Make another layer with the cooked banana and then with the white sauce, a layer of the meat and finish with the mozzarella cheese. Bake until browned.
Then, just serve!
