Latin American gastronomy in France: banana leaf, the key to Colombian tamales

France celebrates its links with Latin America through Latin America Week. During this initiative, different courses, talks and events highlight the culture of the region and its intercontinental ties. In this context, our journalist Érika Olavarría attended a cooking class in which a particular ingredient was used: the banana leaf. Tolimense tamales are prepared with it, a typical dish from the Andean region of Colombia.
