A manager at a Burger King in Spain was fired for watching a football match. Burger King also accused the employee of working in shorts, removing meat stuck in the grill with his bare hands, leaving his job prematurely on several occasions and lying about his attendance schedule.  On September 12, 2024, the manager received the dismissal letter and decided to take legal action. But the High Court of Galicia ordered the reinstatement of the manager in the company, considering that the alleged facts did not justify dismissal. Burger King must pay him compensation of 14,997 euros.
