Lines 1-Blue, 2-Green and 15-Silver of the São Paulo Metro run at reduced speed this Tuesday morning (16), causing crowding on platforms and queues of passengers.
According to the Metro, a failure in the platform door system was recorded at around 7am at the Vila Prudente, Tamanduateí and Sacomã stations, on Line 2-Green.
Because of the problem, lines 1-Blue and 15-Silver, which integrate with Line 2-Green, also started to operate at reduced speed.
Images sent to TV Globo show passengers facing queues that stretch from the escalators to the train doors at Chácara Klabin station, on Line 2-Green.
Until the last update of this report, there was no forecast for the normalization of operations.
