In testimony, she stated that the man attacked her with slaps and punches, in addition to striking her with a knife. He was arrested in the act, but his identity was not disclosed by authorities. The case took place in a house on Avenida Agenor de Campos, in the Jardim Columbia neighborhood. According to police records, in the morning, the victim tried to escape through the window of the house, but was stopped by the suspect, who grabbed her by her clothes and pulled her back to the property. With the screams, neighbors called the Military Police. In her statement, the victim added that the man repeated that he would not let her go and that he would kill her before taking his own life. Given the seriousness of the situation, the agents began negotiations and called the Special Tactical Actions Group (Gate). While negotiations were taking place through the kitchen window, a military police officer climbed to the roof, accessed the property from the side and entered the bedroom. According to the corporation, the agent used a stun gun, which made it possible to immobilize the attacker and immediately release the victim. After the electrical discharge, the man dropped the knife, fell to the ground and hit his head. He and the victim, who had cuts and small puncture wounds on the head, face, neck, hands and chest, were taken to the Vera Cruz Emergency Room. The São Paulo Public Security Secretariat (SSP-SP) reported, in a note, that the suspect was taken to the Women's Defense Police Station (DDM) after receiving medical care.
