Hotline Denúncia gains new version in Minas Gerais
The State Secretariat of Justice and Public Security of Minas Gerais (Sejusp), through the Integrated Command and Control Center (CICC), launched this Thursday (11) the online version of the Unified Reporting Hotline 181 (DDU 181). The new tool is available 24 hours a day and allows citizens to register complaints online anonymously and free of charge.
According to Bernardo Naves, Superintendent of Integration and Operational Planning at Sejusp, the service can be accessed through the website www.denuncia181.mg.gov.br and does not replace the existing telephone service.

The objective is to expand communication channels between the population and security forces, facilitating the sending of information about crimes and other irregularities (see below how to file a report).
In addition to reporting incidents, users can attach photos, videos and PDF documents to complement reports. The system was developed to guarantee the anonymity of whistleblowers, without personal data being shared with the institutions responsible for investigations.
According to the superintendent, the information received initially goes through a team of analysts, who evaluate the content and direct each complaint to the competent body. The work is carried out in an integrated manner between the Military Police, Civil Police and the Military Fire Department of Minas Gerais.
How to register a complaint
When accessing the platform, citizens must initially inform whether the situation is happening at that moment. In cases of emergency or crimes in progress, the system guides the user to look for telephone support channels, via 181.
Next, it is necessary to select the nature of the complaint, such as drug trafficking, domestic violence, violence against children, violence against the elderly, incidents related to the Fire Department or other types.
After sending, the system generates a protocol that allows the complainant to monitor the progress of the incident. If necessary, new information can be added later.
You can also check updates on the complaint. Depending on the case, the citizen will be able to check whether the incident was referred for investigation and whether there were developments based on the information provided.
