An official from the High-ranking Public Officials Crime Investigation Office said in a regular briefing on the 14th, "Even if the investigative rights of prosecutors are abolished (due to the revision of the Criminal Investigation Act), separate regulations are necessary because prosecutors from the Corruption Investigation Office and special prosecutors are maintained," and "The Criminal Investigation Act is revised without separate provisions."
