On the 10th, LG Electronics signed a ‘Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the joint development of the next-generation AI home’ with GS E&C at the Grand Seoul Building in Jongno-gu, Seoul, with LG Electronics CEO Ryu Jae-cheol (CEO/President) and GS E&C CEO Heo Yun-hong in attendance. The agreement aims to link home appliances and Internet of Things (IoT) devices with LG Electronics' AI home hub platform 'ThinQ On' and link them with the infrastructure of GS E&C's residential brand 'Xi' complex. Through this agreement, LG Electronics and GS E&C will connect into one system that goes beyond controlling home devices such as lighting, heating, and gas valves, as well as calling elevators, checking parking locations, and making reservations for community facilities.
