Act on countering SNS disinformation during election periods passed and enacted in plenary session of the House of Councilors

A law was passed and enacted at a plenary session of the House of Councilors that includes measures to prevent the spread of false information via SNS during the election period, including requiring election operators to take measures to reduce the negative impact of information that harms the integrity of elections.
