Ehime Police officer driving on public road at approximately 160km was sent to prosecutors for suspected violation of road traffic law

A police officer working at a police station in Ehime Prefecture was accused of driving on a public road at a speed of approximately 160 km/h, 110 km above the speed limit.The police sent the officer to the prosecutor's office on suspicion of violating the Road Traffic Act and gave him a six-month disciplinary action, including a reduction in his pay.
