According to the portal, the actress had meningitis and a blood infection, which caused sepsis problems. In early June, Chase was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital with malnutrition.
Daveigh got her big break in Hollywood at a young age, voicing the character Lilo in the 2002 Disney hit "Lilo & Stitch" and also in the spin-off TV series. She also voiced Chihiro Ogino in the American version of Spirited Away.
Horror film fans will certainly remember her remarkable performance as Samara Morgan, the main antagonist of the 2002 hit "The Ring", a role for which she won an MTV Movie Award in the Best Villain category.
Beginning in 2006, Daveigh landed a recurring role on the HBO series "Big Love," which follows a fundamentalist, polygamous Mormon family. She played Rhonda Volmer in 32 episodes over the series' five seasons.
Among his other works are "Donnie Darko", "Beethoven's 5th", "Sabrina, The Witch's Apprentice", "ER", "Mercy" and many others.
Over the years, Daveigh has had several legal problems, matters that have been widely reported.
