Producers have until July 31st to provide information to Adepará Rural producers in Pará have until July 31st to update their herd registration with the Agricultural Defense Agency of the State of Pará (Adepará). The procedure is mandatory, free and can be done online, through the Sigeagro system, or in person at the agency's units. The campaign covers creations of different species and aims to strengthen animal health control in the state. In addition to cattle and buffaloes, animals such as goats, sheep, pigs, birds, bees and aquatic species, such as fish and shrimp, must be registered. According to Adepará, keeping data updated is essential for monitoring animal health and for rapid action in cases of suspected disease. Cattle rancher Rafael Camarço states that the update contributes to production security and the opening of markets. "It is extremely important that we keep our animals healthy and guarantee the safety of the market where we send our animals, guaranteeing the health and releases we need to reach other meat, poultry and fish markets," he said. Registration can be carried out on the Adepará website, through the Sigeagro system, or directly at one of the agency's units in the state. For producers, anticipating the procedure helps to avoid queues and disruptions close to the end of the campaign. "We are already gathering the documentation so as not to miss the deadline. It is extremely important that we do not miss this deadline, as we know it is important for everyone", stated Rafael Camarço. According to Adepará, the registration update allows you to quickly identify properties and animals in situations that require health surveillance, contributing to disease control and production traceability. "In case of any suspicion of a notifiable disease, we can know where the animal came from and where it went. The producer's data will be updated, as well as the information necessary to locate the property", explained agricultural inspector Renata Pereira. Anyone who does not update their registration within the deadline will be subject to penalties. According to Adepará, the producer may receive an infraction notice and have the issuance of the Animal Transit Guide (GTA), a document necessary for the transport and sale of animals, blocked. "If the producer only appears in August, he or she will have an infraction notice. The system will block the issuance of GTAs, preventing the transport and sale of animals. Appearing on time is essential", warned Renata Pereira. The campaign takes place throughout Pará. The exception is the Marajó region, where the herd registration update will be carried out in the second half of this year. ✅ Follow the g1 Pará channel on WhatsApp VIDEOS: see all the news from Pará Read more state news on g1 Pará
