In total, 8,238 temporary vacancies are offered in five functions, with salaries ranging between R$2,128 and R$4,008, in addition to benefits. The opportunities are distributed throughout the country and cover administrative, operational, supervisory and technological support activities linked to the execution of the research. Registration must be made exclusively online, on the IBFC website, responsible for organizing the process. The deadline ends at 11pm on July 1st. Check below the list of positions, salaries and number of vacancies: In addition to salaries, those hired will be entitled to food allowance of R$1,192, transportation allowance, pre-school allowance, proportional vacations and proportional 13th salary. Those approved will be hired for a specified period of time to work on collecting information, supervising teams, administrative support and technological support for census operations. 🔎 The Agricultural Census is one of the main surveys carried out by IBGE and aims to gather information on the structure and production of Brazilian rural establishments. The data collected helps guide public policies, financing programs and actions aimed at developing the agricultural sector. Who can participate? All positions require a high school diploma. Additionally, candidates must meet the following requirements: be at least 18 years old on the date of hire; be up to date with electoral obligations; be up to date with military obligations, in the case of male candidates; have physical and mental aptitude to perform the role; meet the other requirements set out in the notice. For the positions of Supervisory Census Agent (ACS), Regional Census Agent (ACR) and Regional Operational Agent (AOR), a valid National Driving License (CNH) category B is also required. What will the test be like? The selection will feature an objective multiple-choice test consisting of 60 questions. Charged content includes: Portuguese language; Logical Reasoning; Ethics in Public Service; Geography; specific knowledge of each position. The test will last four hours and will be administered in the municipality chosen by the candidate during registration, on September 27th. To be approved, you will need to obtain at least 18 points in the total assessment and answer at least one question correctly in each subject required for the intended role. The selection process provides for reservation of vacancies for specific groups: 25% for black and brown people; 5% for people with disabilities; 3% for indigenous people; 2% for quilombolas. Candidates who opt for the reserved places will compete simultaneously in the broad competition and in the specific quota lists, as long as they comply with the validation procedures set out in the notice. How long does the contract last? Those approved will initially be hired for up to 12 months to work on the 2026 Agricultural Census operations. Contracts may be extended according to IBGE's needs and the progress of data collection work, respecting the maximum limit of 48 months provided for in federal legislation for temporary hiring. During their employment period, contractors will undergo periodic performance evaluations. Among the criteria observed are attendance, productivity, meeting deadlines and quality of activities performed. Dismissal may occur if the professional presents performance considered insufficient. Reservation Registration Candidates approved beyond the initial number of vacancies will form a reserve register and may be called up later, according to the needs of the institute throughout the execution of the Agricultural Census. In practice, this means that candidates outside of the immediate vacancies can still be called during the selection period, if new demands or withdrawals arise.
