The first activation of the Alert and Alarm System was recorded between 7:17 am and 11:40 am. The continuous volume of rain in the city causes the soil to become waterlogged and increases the risk of slopes sliding. Pipe burst The Operations and Resilience Center (COR-Rio) monitors the work of Rio City Hall teams on Estrada da Gávea, in Rocinha, near Rua Portão Vermelho, after the rupture of a pipe at the Águas do Rio concessionaire. The leak caused a landslide last night. The road, which was completely closed, has one lane occupied for the work of Civil Defense teams and the Municipal Urban Cleaning Company (Comlurb).
