Crash occurred on BR-040 Federal Highway Police/Disclosure A head-on collision between a car and a motorcycle killed a 15-year-old teenager in the early evening of last Sunday (14), at km-124 of BR-040, in João Pinheiro, in the Northwest of Minas Gerais. The victim was on the back of the motorcycle at the time of the crash. The driver of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old man, suffered minor injuries, while the teenager who was riding pillion succumbed to her injuries and died at the scene. According to the PRF, the driver of the car, aged 41, and a passenger, aged 43, left the vehicle on the side of the road and remained at the scene until the teams arrived to assist. None of them were injured.
