In Durban, South Africa, thousands of foreigners were forced to leave their homes after anti-immigrant protests last month. Many, mainly from the DRC or Nigeria, have since lived in makeshift camps without access to water or toilets, while tensions and attacks have increased in the city. Faced with a situation considered increasingly critical, the displaced are calling for help from the authorities and the UN.
