Drops in ridership of 8% in the metro, 12% in the RER and even 20% in the bus: how the heat affects public transport ridership in Paris

A study conducted by the Paris Region Institute, in partnership with SNCF Voyageurs, the Mass Transit Academy, DRIEAT, the CCI Paris Ile-de-France and Sustainable Mobilities shows the extent to which heat peaks have consequences on passenger flows.
