In the action, the organization also highlighted that the event, as planned, could give an undue advantage over other pre-candidates.
Despite the suspension, posts on social media show that the event started on Thursday night. Randolfe took the stage, said he had been notified by the Court and ended the activity.
In a statement, the senator attributed the suspension to political opponents and said that an opposition bloc called the Electoral Court. He also stated that he had complied with the decision and closed the event after being notified.
"I learned from life to respect the will of God, the people and compliance with the foundations of democracy and justice. The judicial decision is fulfilled! At this moment we suspend this act, but from here I come down from the stage and stand among the people in gratitude", he said.
