Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) participated this Thursday (11), in Belém, in the launch of the pre-campaigns of Dr. Daniel Santos (Podemos) for the government of Pará and of deputy Éder Mauro (PL) for the Federal Senate.
During a speech at the event, held at the headquarters of a samba school, the pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic defended the flexibility of environmental licenses for agribusiness and mining activities.
Wearing a t-shirt with the phrase “The Amazon is ours”, the senator stated that he intends to 'modernize the legislation'.
“We are going to work hard to modernize the government, modernize legislation, so that licenses can be granted to anyone who wants to plant, whoever wants to raise livestock, whoever wants to legally explore the subsoil,” he said.

According to the parliamentarian, the population of Pará faces restrictions in exploring the region's tourism potential. He stated that he intends to change laws to accelerate the use of natural resources.
“We are going to change the legislation to accelerate, take this wealth that is underground and distribute it to you, to the Brazilian people”, he declared.
Flávio Bolsonaro arrived in Pará this Thursday morning and completed his agenda in Altamira, 813 kilometers from Belém. In the city, he met with party leaders and local agribusiness entrepreneurs.
Public safety
In his speech, the senator also presented proposals in the area of public security, with a focus on combating organized crime. He advocated the reclassification of criminal factions as terrorist organizations.
Since June 5, the United States Department of State has classified the Brazilian factions Comando Vermelho (CV) and Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) as "specially designated global terrorists" and as "foreign terrorist organizations".
“We sought help to classify Comando Vermelho and PCC as the terrorist organizations that they are,” he stated.
Among the measures advocated for security are the reduction of the age of criminal responsibility and support for the implementation of chemical castration for those convicted of rape.
"You who belong to narco-terrorist organizations that impose fear, that charge fees from traders, that beat women, that enslave the Brazilian population. You have until the end of the year to get in the way of Brazil," he said.
Economy
In the economic area, Flávio Bolsonaro promised the resumption of investments and the creation of jobs in Pará from 2027. According to him, the reduction of bureaucracy and the modernization of environmental laws would be fundamental to boost the state's productive potential.
The event took place on the same day that the senator presented a criminal report against President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, for alleged crimes of threat and incitement to crime, due to a public speech made by the president last week, in Catalão (GO).
