According to the Military Highway Police (PMRv), the crash occurred at around 6:55 am, at km 517 of the highway, and involved the car the victims were in and a trailer. According to information from the Military Highway Police, the driver of the vehicle, aged 32, and the passenger, aged 29, died at the scene. After the impact, the vehicle returned to the road and stopped on the carriageway.
