During the interdiction period, at least two flights destined for the capital of Piauí had to be diverted to Fortaleza, in Ceará. One of the affected flights was operated by Azul and left Confins International Airport, in Minas Gerais, with arrival scheduled for 5:25 pm in Teresina. The other, from Latam, departed from Guarulhos International Airport, in São Paulo, and was scheduled to land at 5:35 pm.
