The change follows the model adopted by the Electoral Court, in which the management positions of the regional electoral courts are held by judges from the courts of Justice for one-year terms.
Carlos Henrique Perpétuo Braga has been a member of the Minas Gerais Court of Justice (TJMG) as a judge since 2016. He graduated in Law from the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU).
Sálvio Chaves has a degree in Law from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) and has worked as a judge at the TJMG since 2013.
The Regional Electoral Court is responsible for organizing, conducting and monitoring elections in the state, in addition to judging cases related to the Electoral Court.
