"I respect all the competitors out there and I have my 'anti-PT' flag. Any one of us who is in the second round, I'm sure will have the support of the others." During the interview, Zema also defended renewal in politics and said that Brazil needs a president with experience in the private sector, like him. Now on g1 "Brazil needs a different president, a president who has always needed to spend less than he earns, which is what I have done my entire life," he declared. According to him, the surveys should be analyzed with caution, as the majority of voters would not yet be following the dispute closely. Zema cited previous elections to state that polls do not always reflect the results of the polls and assessed that the scenario tends to change as the campaign progresses.
