According to the corporation, the victim was unable to leave the area on his own due to the injury and access difficulties in the region. The operation mobilized soldiers from the 1st Military Firefighter Group (Humaitá), with support from the 1st Forestry and Environmental Relief Group (GSFMA), specialized in rescues in forest and mountain areas, as well as an aircraft from the Air Operations Group (GOA).
