The objective, according to management, is to guarantee the adoption of measures taken by the construction company and the preservation of resources to repair the damage caused by the collapse of the bridge.
Check below a summary of the government's requests and the decision of the Acre Court:
That a company provides material assistance to victims, including the cost of medical, hospital and rehabilitation expenses not covered by the public network - The Court granted this request and gave a period of 5 days for the company to present an assistance plan to families, instability of margins or risks arising from the collapse. The determination includes the removal and provision of housing, if necessary, and establishes a daily fine of R$50,000 in case of non-compliance;

Contract suspension
In addition to taking legal action, the government also published this Saturday (6), in the Official State Gazette (DOE), two decrees to investigate the circumstances related to the collapse of the Frei Paolino Baldassari Bridge.
Decree No. 11. 902/2026 determines that Deracre initiate an Administrative Liability Procedure (PAR) against Construtora Cidade Ltda. According to the measure, the objective is to determine the contractual, technical, administrative and patrimonial responsibilities due to the collapse of the bridge.
Furthermore, the standard also establishes a period of 90 days for the work to be completed and determines, in a preventive and precautionary manner, the suspension of contracts, hiring processes and payments that may be linked to the construction company within the scope of the state public administration.
“The preventive suspension referred to in this article does not prevent the practice of administrative acts necessary to preserve the rights of the State of Acre, its authorities, foundations and other entities of indirect administration, the instruction of the procedure, the safety of the population, the mitigation of risks or the investigation of damages to the treasury”, details the text.
