Revised Seed and Seedling Law enacted to prevent seeds and seedlings developed in Japan from going overseas

In order to prevent the seeds and seedlings of agricultural products developed in Japan from being taken overseas without permission, the revised Seed and Seedling Act was passed and enacted at a plenary session of the House of Councilors on the 17th, tightening regulations by allowing the suspension of exports even before a variety is registered with the government.
