Investigators have learned that a former employee who was arrested for murdering a patient at a hospital in Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture by mixing excrement into his IV drip was seen on a security camera going in and out of the hospital's room where patient excrement was managed before the patient's condition suddenly deteriorated. Police are investigating the possibility that the drug may have been taken from this room and mixed into an intravenous drip. According to police, the former employee denies the charges.
