A media company run by U.S. President Donald Trump's family is launching a paid service for trading companies that will allow them to receive President Trump's social media posts before regular users. As President Trump's remarks significantly move the financial market, the strategy is to utilize them as a profitable business. According to the Financial Times (FT) on the 16th (local time), Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG) announced the launch of the ‘Truth API’. The company explained that this service “provides real-time access to posts from TruthSocial’s top accounts.”TMTG is a company in which the Trump family holds a controlling stake and operates the social media platform TruthSocial. President Trump has approximately 12.9 million followers on Truth Social. According to the company, the Truth API delivers President Trump's posts to customers milliseconds earlier than to regular users. Kevin McGann, interim CEO of TMTG, said this service would be the company’s “exclusive”.
