The Mutual Aid Association pointed out that the risk of heat stroke is high during outdoor activities such as physical education classes, and that heat accumulation in school facilities can increase students' physical fatigue. In particular, he emphasized that heat waves, the number one cause of casualties from natural disasters over the past 10 years, are rapidly increasing, with 85 casualties in 2023 and 108 in 2024, so preemptive preventive measures in schools are essential.
