ElexLab (CEO Choi Shin-sik), a bio healthcare technology company, announced on the 13th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) and main contract to strengthen the marketing of its lactic acid bacteria product ‘GBLac’ with Vitallab, a marketing company led by former national basketball player Woo Ji-won. This agreement was promoted to accelerate entry into the domestic and overseas health functional food markets by combining ElexLab's biotechnology and VitalLab's marketing capabilities. The core purpose of both companies was to convey to consumers the value of ‘well-aging’, which helps them maintain a healthy and energetic lifestyle in their daily lives. ‘GBLac Smart Habits’ was developed through a high-speed screening platform that combines ‘Little elegans’, an alternative animal testing model, and an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) vision sensor. The Elex Lab researchers precisely analyzed about 1,000 types of candidate lactic acid bacteria and carefully selected and commercialized excellent strains that can help maintain physical vitality and improve health. Currently, the ‘2026 Sports Accelerating Program’ hosted by the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation is being held.
