Criticism continues as photos of so-called 'nuisance parking' vehicles that occupy two spaces in a large shopping mall's underground parking lot while ignoring parking lines have been released online. Recently, a photo taken in what appears to be a large supermarket and department store parking lot was posted on an online community. The photo showed a white SUV parked across the parking divider, making all parking spaces on both sides unusable. Criticism grew as other vehicles in the photo were parked so tightly that it was difficult to find an empty space. There was also speculation online that the owner of the vehicle in question may have intentionally used two spaces to avoid the so-called ‘door lock’. Netizens responded with comments such as “He only cares about his own car and does not care about others at all”, “The most nuisance behavior at a weekend shopping mall”, “Cars like that need a strong penalty”, and “He is too selfish in a situation where even one space is regrettable”. In this way, ‘nuisance parking’ such as crossing the parking line or using two spaces has repeatedly been controversial. Current Road Traffic Act
