U.S. President Donald Trump announced on the 10th (local time) that he had ordered a large-scale bombing if Iran carries out its plan to assassinate him. In an interview with the New York Post on this day, President Trump said, "I have been on their (assassination) list for a long time. That is what we are dealing with now," and added, "The only thing is that if something happens, I have given an order to bomb them to a level they have never seen before." President Trump said that Israel is threatening him. He denied the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) report that he had detected intelligence related to Iran's new plot to eliminate him and warned the U.S. He said, "No, Israel has brought nothing new," and added, "I have been on the top of Iran's list of targets for elimination for a long time. Isn't that how life is?" He then said, “I hope you miss me when I’m gone.” President Trump attended the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit held in Turkye Ankara on the 8th.
