Judge Seong Hyeon-chang of the Seoul Eastern District Court conducted a pre-arrest interrogation (substantial examination of warrant) for Mr. Mr. A is accused of obstructing police officers by pushing them and using violence during the on-site investigation at Olympic Park by members of the Special Committee on National Security at around 1:10 p.m. on the 2nd. The police took action to move some citizens because they were blocking the entrance to the Olympic Park handball stadium where the vote counting station was located, and Mr. A was arrested in the process. The police applied for an arrest warrant a day later, the day before. Mr. A appeared in court at around 2:30 pm on this day and was asked whether he acknowledged the charge of assaulting the police, and answered, "I do not admit it. The scene was a peaceful place for citizens, and I participated as a citizen. I feel quite unfair now." As for the reason for blocking entry, "I did not block it."
