Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare proposes new policy including obligation to report health damage to businesses that sell supplements

In order to ensure the safety of "supplements," which are classified as food products, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare presented a new policy proposal at an expert committee meeting held on the 1st to strengthen regulations, such as requiring all businesses that handle supplements to report health hazards to local governments.
