First implementation of ‘Grade 6 → Grade 5 early promotion system’, 100 people selected this year

For the first time, the government will select 100 level 6 national civil servants with outstanding work performance and capabilities as candidates for ‘early promotion to level 5.’ The Ministry of Personnel Management announced on the 1st that it has announced on the Ministry of Personnel Management’s website the ‘2026 National Civil Service Early Promotion System Open Competitive Promotion Test Implementation Plan for Level 5 National Civil Servants.’ The 5th grade early promotion system is a new system introduced this year to quickly appoint 6th grade national civil servants for special promotions based on performance and ability.
