The Samsung BioLogics labor union, which is in conflict with management demanding wage increases and improved personnel systems, will withdraw from the Samsung large enterprise union. The Samsung BioLogics Win-Win Branch, the Samsung Group's large enterprise labor union, announced on the 28th that a motion to change the union organization form for union members was approved. The agenda included information about withdrawing from the Samsung large enterprise union. From the 24th of this month to this day, the union held a vote on changing the organizational form and revising the rules. Of the 4,500 union members eligible to vote, 2,479 voted, of which 2,392, or 96.5%, were in favor. In accordance with the internal rules that are passed when a majority of union members vote and more than two-thirds of voters agree, the Samsung BioLogics union plans to withdraw from the Samsung Super Enterprise Union and take its own path. Samsung BioLogics is the second company to withdraw from the Samsung Mega Enterprise Union, following the Samsung Electro-Mechanics No. 1 union. The Samsung BioLogics union was formed after members dissatisfied with the differential payment of performance bonuses following the Samsung Electronics labor-management agreement withdrew from the union.
