The man suspected of killing his ex-partner Anisiana Pereira da Silva, aged 32, traveled almost 900 km in an escape attempt before being captured by the Civil Police. The arrest took place on Tuesday afternoon (16) in Philadelphia, in the north of Tocantins, as he tried to cross the border into the state of Maranhão, according to the police.
The crime took place in the southeast region of the state. Anisiana's body was found abandoned on the side of the highway that connects Taguatinga (TO) to Luís Eduardo Magalhães (BA), with puncture marks possibly caused by a knife.

According to the Public Security Secretariat (SSP), the 47-year-old suspect confessed to the crime after being interrogated. He told the police the exact location where he had left the victim's body.
The name of the person being investigated was not disclosed, for this reason, g1 did not have access to the defense.
The distance between Taguatinga, where the body was located, and Philadelphia, location of the prison, is approximately 890 kilometers. The location of the suspect was possible after investigations by the 103rd Police Station of Taguatinga and the 34th Police Station of Philadelphia, which identified the man's escape shortly after the victim's disappearance was reported.

The suspect was taken to the Civil Police Service Center in Araguaína, where he was charged.
History of violence
Anisiana and the suspect maintained a relationship for around 15 years, starting when she was just 17 years old. According to reports from the family to g1, the marriage was marked by a cycle of violence and addiction on the part of the partner.
The victim's niece, Danyele Marques, reported that Anisiana lost assets and was almost fired due to her husband's behavior in Brasília (DF). Seeking family support, she had recently moved back to Tocantins, where her mother and sisters lived.
Anisiana, who was known for her charisma and dream of becoming a pastry chef, left behind a daughter who will turn 9 next August.
The victim's body was sent to the Legal Medical Institute (IML). Technical expertise is still working to conclude the exact circumstances of death.
