Bus hit by rock on BR-050 PRF/Disclosure A teenager, whose age was not disclosed, was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday (17) suspected of participating in stone attacks against vehicles on BR-050, in Uberaba. According to the Federal Highway Police (PRF), the action would aim to force drivers to stop to commit robberies on the highway. According to the PRF, around 1 am, teams patrolling at km 182 found four vehicles damaged after being hit by large rocks. One of the victims suffered serious injuries to the eye area and was taken for medical care at the São Benedito Emergency Care Unit (UPA), in Uberaba. After recording the incident, police searched the area and located one of the suspects. The teenager was apprehended and taken to the Civil Police Station accompanied by a legal guardian. A second person involved managed to escape, but has already been identified, according to the PRF. The Civil Police must investigate the suspects' participation in the attacks and the possible connection of the cases with attempted robberies recorded on the stretch of highway.
