The mother of the teenager, victim of a gang rape in Contagem, in Greater BH, says that in addition to registering the police report, she is taking all measures to ensure that justice is served. Cell phone messages, sent by one of the suspects to his daughter, have already been printed and forwarded to the police (see images above). She explained, in an interview with g1, that those involved were acquaintances of her daughter, one of them a childhood friend.
"I want to go all the way. I want them to pay. Even though they are minors, they need to pay. If at that age they did this, with their best friend, who's to say they won't do it again?", the teenager's mother is indignant.
The crime took place in the Arvoredo neighborhood, at the teenager's house during a party, last Friday (12). The victim, aged 17, reports having drunk a possibly adulterated drink, losing consciousness and being abused by at least four young people.
Outraged, the mother reports that, while she accompanied her daughter to the hospital — where she underwent tests and received medication —, parents of two of those involved went to the place in an attempt to negotiate an agreement.
"They were at the door, two of the parents of the teenage abusers. They were at the door coercing us, wanting to talk to resolve the problem as if a conversation, an apology would solve it. The doctors were outraged and they called 911 and filed a police report," said the mother.
The mother says that the family, as a whole, is suffering a lot from the situation. She has still not been able to access psychological care for the teenager in the public health network.
"My daughter is very shaken. She doesn't eat, she doesn't sleep properly. And I, as a mother, feel the feeling of impotence", she laments.
