During the procedure, the attendant requested the cell phone password to access the company's application. She says that she provided access and waited for the service to complete as she trusted that it was a standard work protocol.
The crime was discovered, according to the young woman, after she left the store and got into the car. When checking his cell phone, he noticed a transfer notification via AirDrop, a file transfer tool, which was still active on the screen and confirmed the operation.
Eduarda says that the employee took advantage of the moment when he was alone with the device to break into the client's hidden items folder and forward an intimate photo of her to his own device.
"When I saw it I went into a state of shock. I called my father in despair, I called my sister and I called my police friend too. He advised me to call 190 and report it. I called 190", she reports in the video.
In a note sent to g1, TIM informed that the person involved was not an employee of the operator, but of a partner, and was terminated “as soon as the facts, which completely deviate from its standards of ethics and conduct, were identified”. The report did not locate the employee.
In the presence of the police, the victim had access to the suspect's cell phone and discovered that his hidden items folder contained photos of several other women, indicating that the practice was recurrent. Eduarda deleted her records from the employee's device, including the files in the trash, and went to the police station where she filed a police report.
According to the young woman, a representative from the operator even contacted her to apologize for what happened.
"I only brought this up to bring a warning because if I hadn't done that, where would this photo of me have ended up? It's a very delicate situation. I'm in a really bad place. I'm sad, I felt very guilty for having given him my cell phone password, but he was just doing his job until then."
g1 also contacted the Civil Police of Santa Catarina to find out if the case was being investigated, however, it did not receive any response until the last update of the report.
