Revised Copyright Act enacted; music royalties distributed to singers; House of Councilors plenary session

The revised Copyright Act, which will allow singers and musicians to receive royalties for the music played as background music in stores and event venues, was passed with a majority vote in a plenary session of the House of Councilors.
