Desperate, Alexandre reaches for the gun to prevent him from continuing to shoot. A store employee helps contain the situation and removes the injured dog from the scene. Civil Police experts recovered five shells fired at the scene. At least one of the shots hit Bruce in the abdominal region. Health status Bruce was taken to a veterinary clinic shortly after the attack. According to veterinarians, the projectile passed through the animal's abdominal region, but did not reach vital organs. The dog remains hospitalized and is in stable condition. Alexandre stated that the French bulldog is part of the family. "My child, man. I carry him. He's 4 years old. He goes back and forth with me everywhere I go, trips, everything. He goes with me," he said. What the police say The man identified as the author of the shooting was identified as Davidson Cássio de Souza Santos, third sergeant of the Minas Gerais Military Police.
