The naked body of a female software engineer working in an IT company in Gurugram, Haryana was found in a hotel room in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand. Traces of blood, liquor bottles and wrappers of sex power medicines were found in the room. 27-year-old engineer P. Radha Gayathri was originally from Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. He was married to Soumya Sricharan eight months ago. He works in an IT company in Pune. Radha had reached Mussoorie with her husband after visiting Rishikesh. Both were staying in a homestay. When Mussoorie police reached the room on Monday morning on the information of her husband, the woman's body was lying on the floor. CCTV footage of the homestay is also being scrutinized: According to CO Mussoorie Jagdish Pant, during the initial interrogation of the police, the husband told that they were married in November 2025. She worked in Pune and Gayatri worked in Gurugram. They had come for the first time after marriage. Both of them had consumed alcohol together at night. Police are interrogating the husband of the deceased and CCTV footage of the homestay is also being scrutinized. Postmortem is being conducted to find out the cause of death: CO Mussoorie says that nothing can be said right now without postmortem. The actual cause of death will be known only after the postmortem report and forensic investigation.
