The Civil Police (PC) arrested a couple being investigated for leading a drug trafficking scheme in the "delivery" format in Soure, in the Marajó archipelago of Pará. The arrest took place on Barra Velha beach during operation 'Dark Delivery'.
According to investigations, the couple used social networks and messaging applications to sell drugs such as marijuana, cocaine and hashish.
According to PC, the group maintained an organized structure, with price lists, stock control and accepted payments via PIX and cards. To attract customers, the suspects used digital art with phrases such as “A biqueira está on”.
The investigation began after a previous arrest of the woman. The analysis of data from her cell phone, authorized by the Court, revealed the dynamics of the scheme and the division of tasks between the two.

Police siege and arrest
The police teams detailed that the couple was hiding in a vegetation area on Barra Velha beach. The police siege began around 3pm and lasted until 7pm. During the approach, the man tried to flee towards the sandy beach, but was caught and restrained by the agents.
The operation had the support of the Campos do Marajó Regional Superintendence (5th RISP). The prisoners were taken to the police station and remain at the disposal of the Judiciary.
