The RJ Civil Police is investigating the stabbing death of Lizandra Adilha de Paula Leite, 46 years old, last weekend, in Baixada Fluminense. Relatives suspect her husband, who has not been seen since his wife's death. According to family members, Lizandra's husband got in touch on Friday (12) informing that she had been taken to UPA Patrícia Marinho, in Nova Iguaçu, “very injured”. The Municipal Health Department of Nova Iguaçu reported that Lizandra was admitted with a report of physical aggression, bodily injuries, intense abdominal pain and bleeding. According to the folder, the patient was treated, medicated and admitted for emergency care. During treatment, she suffered cardiorespiratory arrests and was resuscitated on two occasions. In the 3rd cardiorespiratory arrest, on Saturday, she did not survive. Relatives claim, however, that he did not give any more details about the confusion. The family reports that the relationship between Lizandra and her husband was troubled and that there was a history of aggression. According to the victim's sister, she never filed a report against her partner for fear of suffering retaliation. The case was initially registered at the 56th DP (Comendador Soares) and forwarded to the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Police Station (DHBF), responsible for the investigation.
