“Placing the right accents”: Crimean authorities announced plans to rename streets with ambiguous names

The Crimean authorities announced plans to revise the names of streets, public spaces and institutions: we are talking about objects that “bear the names of people who left a negative mark on the history of the Fatherland.” The parliament of the republic proposes to rename such places in honor of outstanding Russian military leaders, scientists and cultural figures.
