Then, he wanders around the place again. Also known as the white-eared opossum, the timbu is a type of opossum native to South America and can transmit the rabies virus to humans. According to the investigation, as it is a wild animal, the timbu is protected by law. Therefore, it is a crime to mistreat, injure or kill the animal. According to the unit, pest control in the hospital is carried out by an outsourced company and is not intended to prevent the presence of this type of animal, whose management must be carried out by environmental agencies. HR also said that renovations in the kitchen and cafeteria will begin this Monday (15th). The intervention is part of the hospital's requalification works, announced in 2023.
