Federal deputy Acácio Favacho (MDB-AP) announced this Monday (15), through his social networks, that he is a pre-candidate for the Senate in the 2026 elections.
Acácio Favacho is 42 years old, married, father of one son, lawyer and member of a traditional family in Amapá politics. Its projects focus on reducing the housing deficit, modernizing urban infrastructure, guaranteeing historic labor rights and promoting clean energy.

Regarding the pre-candidacy, Acácio declared:
"In response to the call of my party and the people of the four corners of Amapá, I announce my pre-candidacy for the Federal Senate. I want to continue serving our state with the same faith, courage and commitment as always. For women, for atypical mothers, for workers, for my brothers of faith and for all those who still believe that good politics can transform lives", he said in an excerpt of the announcement.
