The Attorney General's Office (AGU) informed this Monday (15) that it will ask the United States Court to act in the case filed by the social networks Rumble and Trump Media against the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes.
In a press release, the AGU said that the request for authorization in the process will allow the Brazilian State to defend its sovereignty in the Florida courts, where the case is being processed.

"The measure aims to promote the defense of the interests of the Brazilian State and maintains, above all, that judicial decisions handed down by the Supreme Court of our country cannot be questioned before the courts of foreign States", declared the body.
According to the AGU, public agents cannot be directly targeted by the Judiciary of other countries without the consent of the Brazilian State.
"Brazil has not consented and will not consent to the assessment of decisions of our Supreme Court by judges from another country. Brazilian judicial decisions must be complied with or questioned before our own courts, in accordance with the procedural law in force in Brazil," said the AGU.
In the process being processed in the United States, the Rumble and Trump Media networks accuse Moraes of ordering the suspension of profiles of Brazilians living in the United States, including blogger Allan dos Santos.
The platforms claim that the United States Constitution guarantees unrestricted freedom of expression of ideas and opinions. Thus, measures against citizens and residents to order the removal of posts would constitute censorship.
The measures were determined because the targets are accused of anti-democratic attacks against the Supreme Court.

Notification
Last month, the North American court ordered that Moraes be summoned by email to defend himself in the process.
The measure was taken after the Superior Court of Justice (STJ) denied Rumble's request to notify Moraes through a letter rogatory, a legal instrument used to notify those who live abroad. By law, it is up to the STJ to authorize this type of procedure.
