The NGO Por1Sorriso is holding a health task force in the community of Cametá, in the northeast of Pará, until June 19th.
The initiative provides specialized and free dental care to residents of Cametá, Pinhel, Itapuama, Escrivão, Camarão, Jatuarana and Anduru, focusing on people in socially vulnerable situations.

The organization expects to carry out around 150 dental appointments and approximately 1,000 procedures throughout the action.
The structure assembled on site will allow everything from restorations, extractions and root canal treatments to periodontal scaling, prophylaxis, radiographic examinations, digital scanning, manufacturing of prostheses and oral hygiene guidance.
The mobilization involves around 55 volunteers, including specialists from various areas of dentistry and medicine.
In addition to dentists such as pediatric dentists, endodontists, prosthetists, surgeons, periodontists and dental specialists, there will also be consultations with a general practitioner, pediatrician, gynecologist, psychologist, nutritionist and physiotherapist.
According to the founder and president of the NGO, Dr. Felipe Rossi, the team's presence in the region reinforces the ongoing nature of the project.
About the action
The services will be carried out in the community of Cametá, with the participation of residents from neighboring locations included in the project. The schedule runs from June 14th to 19th, always from 8am to 7pm.
Por1Sorriso was founded in 2016 and has already provided humanized care to more than 30,000 people in Brazil and in African countries, such as Kenya and Mozambique. The entity has more than 100,000 procedures carried out in socially vulnerable communities.
